Sassy and Sweet Pea joined the farm in October 2020. Both donkeys were significantly underweight, and Sweet Pea was pregnant. Baby Ivy was born on March 30, 2021. All three donkeys are incredibly gentle and enjoy the attention of visitors at the farm.

Our three Nigerian dwarf goats were some of the earliest residents of the farm. They are siblings who were born in April 2019. Our goats are a favorite of visitors and will sit still for a very long time while they have a neck scratch.

Our mini horses were adopted from a rescue in Vermont in May of 2022. They are a mother daughter team and are both gentle and love to be groomed.

Our three large rabbits also joined the farm in 2020. They were being raised as meat, but now enjoy a carefree life at the Gentle Farm.

We host a flock of chickens including Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rock, Lace Winged Wyandotte, Orpington Buff, and Leghorn breeds. During the day they roam the farm nibbling on insects and bits of vegetation. At night everyone is safely locked in together in their cozy coop.

Our three house/barn cats enjoy meeting visitors. They are often looking for a lap to curl up in free hand for a belly rub.
