About
Our Story
The Gentle Farm was founded in 2020 during the Covid lockdown. The farm was a long time dream of owner Pam Santos who has witnessed the value of human interactions with critters of all sorts. We broke ground on the new barn in April of 2020 when the farm consisted of a handful of chickens and 3 young goats.
We are now home to those same goats, chickens, rabbits, donkeys, and mini horses. The Gentle Farm became an official 501(c)3 nonprofit in June of 2023, and has been welcoming visitors of all ages, abilities, and stages of life since then.
Meet Farmer Pam
Pam has been caring for animals her entire life. After a career as a social worker, and raising her five children, she was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of having a farm of her own, and inviting individuals of all ages, abilities, and stages of life to share in the farm.
